Adventure: Be a Pollinator

So many flowers are open right now and the pollinators are busy busy busy. Pollinators are drawn to the shape of a flower, the color, the way the stamens present. So many factors determine who pollinates which flower and often many species partake in the fun. Sometimes, co-evolution happens in a way that only one species pollinates one species as is the case for our local Yucca plant that is solely pollinated by the Yucca moth. Pretend YOU are a pollinating insect, bird or moth and discover what flowers you are attracted to and how many. What have you evolved into in order to be able to pollinate the species you choose and what characteristics do you need to have (long beak, curved legs, wings that tuck back, ect)?
