Our Homeschool program grew out of requests from the community for us to offer our nature-based mentoring to homeschoolers. The curriculum and daily activities are equal to those we offer as part of Grasshoppers and Young Eagles, except they take place on during the day (once a week). The program’s primary focus is to introduce youth to nature in a way that encourages children to build meaningful relationships with the natural world. Through the course of a season children grow in agility, confidence, self awareness, and social skills.

Using Inspire Funds for WYP Programs
If you wish to use Wilderness Youth Project as a vendor through Inspire Charter Schools please note the following:
To register, go to register.wyp.org and select the program you would like to sign up for. Under in the Payment Notes section, specify that you wish to use your Inspire funds to cover for your WYP Programs and select “Pay by Cash or Check” as a payment option. You do not have to pay the deposit. Typically, we require a $30 deposit to secure a spot, but we do not require it from families using Inspire.
Our policy is to charge the regular program fee whenever participants are using WYP as a vendor. Normally, our registration system offers varying price levels to families based off of your family size and income. To promote fairness in usage of vendor fees, we will be charging each family the equal, full price for every program enrolled. When reaching out to Inspire, please ask for an enrichment certificate for the full program price.
For registrations that are completed aside from Inspire, or for registrations with balances higher than what is left in the Inspire funds, we will ask that you pay at your scholarship level for the difference.
Once you receive the certificate, please forward it registar@wyp.org within the first 2 weeks of the session.
