nqevnan@jlc.bet Adriana’s very first love for a wild place was Lake Los Carneros, being that it was her front yard growing up in Goleta. This appreciation of nature led her to develop a relationship with natural foods and began a lifelong learning of edible and medicinal plants. She has worked on vegetable and medicinal herb farms in Peru, New York, Oregon and Washington, and now tends her small garden in Carpinteria and works for an organic farm selling produce at farmers markets. She brightens up when playing with children who remind her of her own roots of playfulness and is excited to be a part of WYP inspiring this most important connection to nature.
