Wilderness Youth Project offers a wide range of pricing options to meet your family’s financial needs. Families who can support WYP by paying our Program Fee are supporting the actual cost of our work. We work hard to raise funds from community members and supporters so that we can offer scholarships to families needing financial assistance. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at email@example.com or 805-964-8096 for more information.

WYP programs seem so expensive. How much does the camp actually cost? The program fee represents the actual cost per camper for our program and is $15 an hour. In order to provide the “magic” of WYP we maintain a 4:1 ratio of youth to mentors. That ratio means we can do real mentoring and adventuring, safely and outside. Paying for two staff (starting staff pay is $10.50 per hour) plus vans and insurance adds up. It also adds value! If you break our program pricing down by the hour ($15 an hour for Program Fee to $10 for Scholarship Level 2), it might be less than you pay your babysitter.
