I have called Santa Barbara home for as long as I can remember. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by the ocean and mountains. That makes Santa Barbara special, magical, and beautiful. After graduating from UCSB with a degree in geography, I wanted to contribute towards work impacting the environment and community around me. I am grateful that WYP allows me to do that - not only towards improving the health of kids but also encouraging them to protect and nurture the environment for generations to come. When I am not in front of the computer screen you can find me reading science fiction, learning the guitar, making maps, or walking my dog.
He llamado hogar a Santa Bárbara desde que tengo memoria. Tengo la suerte de estar rodeado por el mar y las montañas. Eso hace que Santa Bárbara sea especial, mágica y hermosa. Después de graduarme de UCSB con un título en geografía, quería contribuir al trabajo que impacta el medio ambiente y la comunidad que me rodea. Estoy agradecido de que WYP me permita hacer eso, no solo para mejorar la salud de los niños, sino también para alentarlos a proteger y nutrir el medio ambiente para las generaciones venideras. Cuando no estoy frente a la pantalla de la computadora, puedes encontrarme leyendo ciencia ficción, aprendiendo a tocar la guitarra, haciendo mapas o paseando a mi perro.
