WYP Summer Camp Experiences

Summer 2022

Summer Camps are back for 2022!

WYP Summer Season

  • Summer Camps: June 6 - August 12, 2022

Summer schedule is available below.

We're working hard to create more space in our camps and move through our waitlists, but we've had an overwhelming number of early registrations. If you have not yet registered, we encourage you to join the waitlists for all the camps you have availability for. We will notify you as soon as possible if a spot becomes available.

*About our gender affinity programs: if your participant does not identify as male or female, they are welcome to choose the group where they feel most comfortable.

How does registration and pricing work?

Our summer camp programs fill up quickly and we always have a waiting list. We make sure our programs are inclusive. Scholarships are available based upon family size and income level.

Our summer camp curriculum focuses on core exploration activities.

  • Circle of Thanksgiving—Sharing words of gratitude
  • Awareness Games—Camouflage, animal forms, and more
  • Wandering—Outdoor exploring nature
  • Storytelling—Telling stories with words, journaling, acting
  • Art of questioning—The answer always leads to more questions…
  • Sit Spot—Knowledge of place, quiet reflection, observation and experience
  • Earth skills—Learn fire by friction, cordage,
tracking, archery and more while building relationships with materials from nature

Demand for WYP camps exceeds the spots we are able to offer in the summer. For that reason, we have a weighted lottery that prioritizes continuing/ returning participants and our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Every interested participant should apply to the waitlist for all the programs they are available for to increase the chances of getting in. Families who waitlist during the first open registration period, February 28th- March 11th, will have higher chances of getting a camp awarded. Lottery results are announced 3 weeks after the first registration period closes. Families may continue to waitlist after our first registration period closes.

Adventure, Learning, Play, Joy and time in Nature are waiting for you. Our professional mentors believe in helping kids play and grow while gaining new skills. Sign up for WYP and support your child in growing smarter, healthier and happier this summer.
